Evaluation of Master Class Series
A series of master classes for senior nurses and midwives were facilitated by the National Leadership and Innovation Centre for Nursing and Midwifery in 2011. The master class series included Leading in uncertain times, How to be successful in my role and How to be politically astute as a leader. Evaluation of Lead, Manage, Coach Leadership Development Programme
The National Leadership and Innovation Centre for Nursing and Midwifery commissioned a leadership programme aimed at senior nurse and midwife managers. The programme aimed to build skills in 3 key areas of senior management competency - Lead, Manage, Coach - by unlocking the potentials within individuals and teams. The Centre conducted an evaluation of this programme which can be downloaded from the attachments on the side of our page.
National Review of Leadership and Innovation Activities
The National Leadership and Innovation Centre for Nursing and Midwifery conducted a review of all leadership and innovation activities for nursing and midwifery within HSE and Voluntary areas. The report outlining the findings can be downloaded from the attachments on the side of our page.
Leading in Uncertain Times Programme
Leading in Uncertain Times is a National 2 day programme for staff nurses and midwives and clinical nurse and midwife managers 1 and 2. The programme is an exciting opportunity to explore why leadership is so important within the context of healthcare. It offers clinical leaders an opprotunity to become more effective in the provision of safe, quality and person-centred care. The programme is open for national consultation on HSELanD.
