HSE Executive Report-National Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Leadership Needs Analysis

The HSE Executive Report of the National Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Leadership Needs Analysis has been published by The Office for Nursing and Midwifery Services Director. The study was undertaken by the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Health Systems, University College Dublin and was kindly funded by the National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery.

The findings of this study highlight the need to provide a national approach to the clinical leadership development of nurses and midwives, with some key recommendations for implementation. This work will be a key driver in developing and sustaining clinical leadership in nursing and midwifery, to support new and more effective ways of working.
