Guidelines for the Management of Pre Gestational and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

from Pre-conception to Post Natal Period

The following guidelines were launched at Dr. Steeven's Hospital by Dr. Richard Firth, HSE National Lead for Diabetes, Quality and Clinical Care Directorate, on Friday 13th August 2010. Dr. Siobhan O' Halloran who was in attendance, welcomed the guidelines to support the standardisation of care and encourage best clinical practice in the care of both mother and baby.
