Model of Care
The National Clinical Programme for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to publish this Model of Care, which is focused on further strengthening the health system, specifically in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. The Model of Care was developed to increase the safety and accessibility of trauma and orthopaedic care to patients through robust, streamlined care implemented consistently across the service.
This Model of Care complements and builds upon the work already completed by the National Clinical Programme for Surgery (NCPS) which published models of care for elective and acute surgery.
