The first national implementation plan for Healthy Ireland in the Health Services 2015-2017 was launched in 2015 with significant achievements noted on implementing many of the 126 actions throughout all levels of the health service. The plan is available for download at the end of this page.

Health Service Reform
the health services is currently delivering significant reforms supporting a better health system
Reducing the burden of Chronic Disease
the biggest risk and greatest challenge to population health and the health services but substantial progress has been made to reduce the burden of chronic diseases in Ireland
Improving Staff Health and Wellbeing
The Health service have and continue to invest in staff health and wellbeing.
