About Us
The Radiology Department provides a comprehensive radiology service to the patients of Sligo General Hospital and to GP-referred patients from the catchment area.
The imaging modalities available include General Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, Interventional Radiology, Radionuclide Imaging, and MRI. A radiographic service is also supplied to day services & to the general and orthopaedic theatres.
Access to Radiology is available Monday to Friday between the core hours of 9am-5pm, some specialised areas are accessible 24/7 and the service to the Emergency department and in-patient population is operational 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
