This directory has six categories of information as follows:

1. Emergency Services
   
2. General Practitioners (GMS and Private)
   
3. Statutory Services: Mental Health Services, Other HSE Services, Other Statutory Services
   
4. Voluntary Groups: providing help with problems associated with all aspects of mental health in (a) Limerick (b) Clare (c) North Tipperary including
   
   a) Health and Disability
   b) Information, Housing and Welfare
   c) Education, Training and Employment
   d) Bereavement Support Groups
   e) Organisations providing direct help to the Suicidal or Depressed
   
5. National Voluntary Groups

• Decide which category the information you require is in
• All entries are presented on a county by county basis i.e. Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary. Choose the relevant location
• Look up the alphabetical order within each category. All entries are made in alphabetical order. However, words such as Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary are usually ignored and the second word of an entry is taken to indicate its alphabetical position. For example, Limerick Youth Service is entered as Youth Service, Limerick.
• If this fails, check the index at the end of the directory where all entries and their page number are listed alphabetically.
