We are one of the eight cancer centres of the HSE National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) and one of two centres in the Southern Region.We provide cancer services predominantly to people who live in the counties of Cork, Kerry, South Tipperary, West Waterford, South East Limerick.
Our cancer services include tests to diagnose cancer, surgical cancer treatments, oncology consultations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.

Parking:
There is public parking in the grounds of the hospital – cost of €2.20 per hour.

If person needs to change their appointment then they must contact the secretary of the relevant Consultant.

Symptomatic Breast Clinic, Cork University Hospital Cancer Control Centre
The Symptomatic Breast Clinic at Cork University Hospital Cancer Control Centre is located in the Blackwater Suite, Out Patients Department, which is adjacent to the Accident & Emergency Department.
On entering the hospital grounds turn right following the sign for the Out-Patient Department, Accident & Emergency entrance. Signposted parking is available in the Public Car Park which, at present, costs €2.20 per hour. If travelling by public transport from the city centre, using the Number 8 bus, please note that this bus stops directly opposite the hospital.
On entering the Out-Patient Department itself, you are looking for the Blackwater Suite. Please report to the Reception Desk where your details will be taken, i.e Name, Address, Date of Birth etc.
At the end of your visit please return to the Reception Desk to arrange a follow-up visit.
A fully resourced Cancer Control Office has been established in CUH. This office will centrally manage all cancer referrals to CUH and ensure that communication with clinicians, patients and others is consistent and thorough.
