This clinic takes place all day Wednesday and all day Thursday. The purpose of this clinic is to provide a rapid diagnostic service to patients. Women attending the Triple Assessment Breast Clinic have breast imaging and biopsy as necessary to complement clinical examination.

Breast Care Nurses are available throughout the patient’s journey through the service. They are trained to support and educate patients and their families who are diagnosed with breast cancer and are available at the Breast Clinic. It is usual for the nurse to be involved with the patient at diagnosis to build a rapport with the patient and their family.
