Our staff

The future direction of the NAS will focus on responding to developments taking place across the healthcare system, which include the reconfiguration of acute hospital services, the roll-out of the Croke Park Agreement, Clinical Care Programmes and the recent publication by HIQA of Response Times and Quality Standards for Pre-Hospital Emergency Care.

The plans to develop the NAS will also take into consideration the Government Taskforce Report on Sudden Cardiac Death and the C&AG report on the Dublin Ambulance Services. A clear strategic vision for the future of the National Ambulance Service will ensure that the NAS continues to provide both high quality call handling, clinical advice and safe and effective mobile healthcare.
