Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar (MRHM) is an acute general and maternity hospital, which forms an integral part of the Health Service Executive Midlands Region. The hospital aims to deliver a quality driven, people centred service to the population of Dublin and the Midlands and in particular the Longford/Westmeath catchment area. MRHM provides a wide range of diagnostic and support services and is an affiliated teaching hospital.
MRHM is a 201 bedded hospital, and provides a wide range of acute hospital services on an inpatient, day case and outpatient basis.

The Midland Regional Hospital at Mullingar wishes to remind visitors and patients of visiting times currently in place at the hospital. While visiting time is as an important part of a patients stay in hospital, some restrictions may be imposed on for medical reasons, or simply to allow a patient to rest during their recovery.
Visiting outside the permitted times should be agreed with the Nurse Manager on duty, in doing so please consider other patients needs for rest and privacy
