The Pathology Laboratory Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar mission is the provision of an equitable, high-quality diagnostic, treatment and monitoring service to the population we serve.

Scope of the Laboratory Services

The Laboratory at MRH Mullingar is one of three Pathology laboratories in the HSE Midlands region attached to the three acute hospitals. The Laboratories provide a clinical diagnostic service to:

Three Acute Hospitals - MRH Mullingar and specialised services to MRH Tullamore and MRH Portlaoise

• General Practitioners
• Nursing Homes
• Psychiatric Hospitals

Opening Hours

Monday - Friday 9.30am - 17.30pm
24-hour laboratory service for urgent investigations.
