 Mission Statement
The Staff of the Medical Services aim to provide a holistic approach to caring that encompasses the physical , psychological ,spiritual ,emotional and cultural well being of the patients and there loved ones. To achieve this we foster teamwork, encourage good communication, we are committed to ongoing education and give research based care to ensure the highest possible standards are being achieved.

 Where are we?
An Isolation ward currently being developed on Medical 3.
Expansion of the Renal services – increasing bed capacity on Medical 2.

What do we do?

The Medical Services provide the following ;

• dialysis / peritoneal dialysis
• coronary care unit with access to the new cardiac catherisation laboratory – opened three day week
• cardiac Rehabilitation – provides education and exercise post a cardiac event
• Nurse led heart failure clinic
• diabetic service
• Cancer service –
• Care of the elderly – providing rehabilitation for stroke patients
• Respiratory service
• Neurology service
• Rheumatology Service
• Dermatology  service
