Referral and access to these services is through The Bed Administration Unit in Beaumont Hospital, Public Health Nurses, GPs, Central Remedial Clinic, Stroke Ireland, and St. Ita's Hospital.

District Care Units   (DCU)

The District Care unit is a multidisciplinary care team set up to deliver short term co-ordinated rehabilitation for clients who will benefit in a timescale of up to 12 weeks

Referral to this service is through Beaumont Hospital, GPs, and the local community.

Lusk Community Unit

Lusk Community Unit provides Residential, Respite, Day Care, and Day Hospital Services.

Patients are referred to Residential Care from Beaumont Hospital and St. Ita’s Hospital

Patients are referred to Respite Care through the Public Health Nurse in LHO Dublin North and the Social Worker in Beaumont Hospital.

Patients are referred to the Day Care Service through the Public Health Nurse in LHO Dublin North

Patients are referred to the Day Hospital through the Public Health Nurse in LHO Dublin North and through GP’s.

Palliative Care

St Francis Hospice provides specialist palliative care to patients with advanced cancer or motor neurone disease that live in Dublin North City and County through its Home Care, Day Care and In-Patient Service. It also provides support services to the families of patients

Patients are referred to St Francis through their GP or Hospital Doctor
