Connecting for Life provides a detailed and clear plan to achieve each of its 69 actions, with a lead agency and key partners in place for each individual action.

As Connecting for Life is a cross-cutting, whole-of-society strategy, its implementation requires consistent co-operation and communication between relevant stakeholders.

The strategy is supported by robust implementation and governance structures (set out in the diagram below) and resourcing and communications frameworks. Monitoring and evaluation are also embedded into the implementation process.

Local Action Plans

Twenty one local action plans, which reflect the national strategy, are also being developed around the country. Click here for more information on each area.
