Team Meetings

In a team meeting, members of the multidisciplinary team come together to discuss your case, review how things have been going, and plan future therapies. Team Meetings usually happen once a week.

What can I expect from a Team Meeting?

You can expect to have, your care plan agreed and when it is time, your discharge planned. You can ask questions about your care. You can attend the team meeting if you wish to. A family member or close friend can attend with your consent.

Who attends?

All members of the team involved in your care attend the meeting if possible

Do I have to attend?

You can attend the team meeting if you wish and will be invited to participate in your treatment and discharge plan.

If you choose not to attend your team meeting your care plan and any other details will be discussed wity you by a member of the multidisciplinary team.

How long does it last?

It can take between 5 minutes and 20 minutes to discuss your case.
