Understand Together aims to show that by standing together, we can help build a movement to forge inclusive communities for people with dementia, carers, and families and friends. Individuals, businesses and lots of other groups and associations can each play a part in helping to build caring and compassionate communities for people affected by dementia.

Understand Together has already attracted the support of over 30 organisations across Ireland from sectors including retail, transport, banking, health and the voluntary and community sector. These organisations are leading the way in creating communities that actively embrace and include those living with dementia and their loved ones.
