Oncology Medication Safety Review Implementation Status Reports

In March 2014, the NCCP commenced a baseline assessment of the implementation status of each of the recommendations contained in the NCCP Oncology MedicatioN Safety Review (2014). The findings of this review are published in the first implementation status report. A number of areas were discussed in detail with representatives of each hospital. Hospitals are required to report on the implementation of the recommendations twice a year. Each report is followed by discussions with each of the hospitals. The second implementation status report related to the status as of December 2014. The third implementation report related to the status as of June 2015. Given the significant progress made by hospitals in implementing the recommendations, the NCCP has determined that ongoing monitoring of implementation is now appropriately in place in each of the hospitals. The current implementation report is therefore the final review of the recommendations at hospital level.
