For those people who will attend the HSE Clinics, here's what you can expect from our service.

• Bookings for timeslots can be made on this website or on the phone. If you arrive at the start of your timeslot we will do our best to have you vaccinated and on your way home by the end of the timeslot.
  
• People can come to the clinic without a booking, but there may be waiting times in this case.
  
• Clinics are set up in various locations nationwide, and may also move location over time to make it easier for people from certain localities to access the vaccine. The list of clinics shows each clinic and any specific access arrangements in place for that clinic.
  
• Each clinic has a seating area for people awaiting vaccination and is wheelchair accessible
  
• The clinics are staffed by medical/nursing staff and other health professionals, who carry out the vaccinations, and administrative staff who will greet clients, help with consent forms and provide assistance
  
• Each person attending the clinic will be asked to complete a consent form, giving their name, address etc, and where necessary, indicating the condition they have that includes them in the at-risk group being vaccinated first. People will not be asked to bring any documents to confirm their condition. Parents of children being vaccinated should attend with the child to give parental consent.
  
• Information will be provided on the vaccine and any possible side effects
  
• After vaccination, people will be asked to wait in the clinic for a few minutes, to ensure they feel quite well and are safe to leave
  
• While we expect any allergic reactions to be very rare, they do sometimes occur with any vaccination. Each clinic is fully equipped and staff are trained to respond to any allergic reactions that may occur
  
• People who have flu like symptoms should not enter the clinic, in case they make the other visitors unwell. Also, vaccination cannot be given to a person who has a temperature over 38 degrees
