I was left feeling good

I was contacted by telephone by an ex-employee to ask for assistance. She sounded anxious as she had spoken to so many people and nobody could give her what she needed. Somehow she had been given my details. I advised that I was aware how frustrating it was when you are referred to various people/departments and that I would investigate and ring her back one way or another. I was able to identify what she needed and rang her back to see what she needed me to do. I arranged to do this for her and she was almost in tears on the phone thanking me for helping her. I was left feeling good that I had been able to assist her.
