What's in a name

Since leaning about Values in Action I have started being more conscious of introducing myself with a handshake and eye contact to my clients.  I have noticed a more mature, formal yet friendly start to my interaction with my clients.  Everybody responds with their first name and a smile, and proceedings start in a good manner.  It also helps clarify if  your client's name is MARIE, MOIRA, MAIRE, MAURA, MARIA, or PAT, PADDY, PA, PAKIE, Patrick, Padraig etc!
