1st March 2021 The 2020 Annual Quality Improvement (QI) and Research Day was held virtually at Naas General Hospital (NGH) on the slightly delayed date of 29th January 2021.
There was huge participation from all members of the multi-disciplinary team at NGH. 31 virtual posters were entered into the virtual poster competition by multidisciplinary QI teams showcasing their excellent work and huge commitment to improving the quality and safety of patient care at NGH - very impressive QI activity, especially during this Pandemic!
The virtual posters were judged externally by four experts who were blown away by the standard and amount of QI that was being conducted at NGH. The top three QI project teams, as judged by the external experts, presented their QI projects at the virtual event. NGH staff members also voted electronically for their preferred poster. Ms. Alice Kinsella, General Manager presented the prizes virtually to the QI teams, congratulated all staff on the superb quality of the work showcased in all the posters and thanked the organising team (Mairead Holland, Evelyn O’Shea, Ronan Hegarty, Gillian O’Loughlin, Anne Murphy, Bernadette Jackson and Elaine Harris).
