St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network take on Jerusalema Challenge

We are a team, we are a Network, we work to save lives and we love to dance!!

16th February 2021 – St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network have released a Jerusalema video in response to the challenge sweeping the country. Staff across the network including: St. Luke's Hospital in Rathgar and St. Luke's Centres at St. James's Hospital and Beaumont Hospital have come together, socially distanced, to celebrate the sense of teamwork that has helped them to overcome the challenges of the last year and continue to work to save lives in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Clare Faul, Network Director, St Luke's Radiation Oncology Network said:

"We are a team, we are a Network, we work to save lives and we love to dance!!

Here at St. Luke's Radiation Oncology Network we have quietly worked through the pandemic, delivering almost 80,000 fractions of Radiation last year.

Our Healthy Ireland Committee co-ordinated dancers from all disciplines across our 3 sites: St. Luke's @Rathgar, St. Luke's @Beaumont and St. Luke's @St James's Hospital. You will see us dancing in a LINAC (radiation bay where patients are treated), in corridors, in the kitchen, in the gardens, in the chart room and at our desks.

We danced through last week, making the video lifted our hearts and minds.”
