Engaging in HSCP Developments

Closely engaging with HSCP frontline staff and managers is a guiding principle for the National HSCP Office team. Some of the ways in which engagement is fostered and enabled include:

  • Information Sharing Sessions throughout the country, enabling two-way information sharing while also enabling the National HSCP Office team to hear the views and perspectives of frontline staff / managers
  • The development of a pathway, in partnership with Professional Bodies, which sets out a process for the selection of HSCP for national representative roles and ongoing support requirements to enable them to fully take up their representative roles
  • Working with a range of HSCP Advisory or Network Groups to ensure HSCP input into design, planning, implementation and evaluation of HSCP developments. Current Advisory Groups include:

National HSCP Office

  • Practice Education Committee Network
  • eHealth HSCP Advisory Group
  • Unscheduled Care HSCP Advisory Group
  • Communications Advisory Group
  • Representatives Network
  • Education & Development Advisory Group with Research & CPD Subgroups
