Paediatric HSCP Expert Group

The Integrated Care Programme for Children in conjunction with the National Clinical Programme for Paediatrics and Neonatology and the HSE National Health & Social Care Professions Office has established a Paediatric Health and Social Care Professionals Expert Group to provide a forum for HSCPs to inform and influence the strategic direction of the two programmes. 


The objectives of the paediatric HSCP expert group are:

  • To provide subject matter expertise to the ICP-C and NCPPN
  • To assist in the development and review of guidelines and policies in line with national and international best practice
  • To support the design, implementation and evaluation of programmes of work of the ICP-C and NCPPN
  • To identify opportunities for collaboration and inter-disciplinary working to improve patient care

The Paediatric HSCP Expert Group met for the first time on 14th of February in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as pictured below:
