Sepsis Management – National Clinical Guideline No 6 update (2020) 

The National Sepsis Programme are very grateful to all those who took the time to provide feedback on the draft clinical guideline on Sepsis Management 2020. The feedback has been collated and submitted to the National Clinical Effectiveness Committee in the Department of Health for final publication.

National Sepsis Summits

The National Clinical Programme for Sepsis holds a national summit, where healthcare professionals and patients share information on Sepsis, Severe Sepsis and Septic Shock

World Wide Sepsis Webinar

The worldwide sepsis webinar brought the know-how of global sepsis-experts to the desktop of healthcare workers around the globe. Speakers like Prof. Tex Kissoon, Prof. Andrew Argent, Prof. Flavia Machado, Prof. Necmettin Ünal, Prof. Konrad Reinhart and Sepsis survivors like Ray Schachter and Lisa Brandt created a compelling insight into different aspects of sepsis – ranging from global impact to local adapted sepsis guidelines for developing countries. Quality Management Improvement, sepsis in children right to gamification insights were introduced to the audience. During and after the webinar over 150 questions streamed in, highlighting the generated interest.
