Rebuilding Ireland: Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness (2016-2021) is a national interagency plan designed to tackle the national increase in homelessness and achieve its objectives to end long term homelessness and rough sleeping by the end of 2021.

‘Reducing Harm, Supporting Recovery’ was launched in 2017 and aims to provide an integrated public health approach to drug and alcohol use, focused on promoting healthier lifestyles within society.

The National Drug Rehabilitation Framework (NDRF) is a framework through which service providers will ensure that individuals affected by drug use are provided with an individual care pathway. This framework is a practical guide that can also be used to support people in homelessness who experience multiple, complex health and social needs.

Housing First National Implementation Plan (2018-2021)

This National Implementation Plan for Housing First 2018 -2021, developed in collaboration between the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, Department of Health, Local Authorities and the HSE National Social Inclusion Office, underpins the Government’s commitment to provide permanent and lasting solutions to rough sleeping and long-term homelessness in Ireland. Key to Housing First is providing direct access to long-term housing and then supporting the person in their home with intensive housing and health supports.
