The role of the Quality Improvement Division is to work in partnership with staff and people who use our health and social services to lead innovation and sustainable quality improvement to achieve measurable better safer care.

The aim of the National Safety Programme for Decontamination is to support services to deliver safe care by improving the reliability of the decontamination of Invasive Medical Devices (RIMD) in Acute and Primary Care.  These supports include building a culture which recognises good ideas, solutions and networking to build an active learning community, learning from what works well in the service.
