Hibernating Quality Improvement Projects

Many staff members working on Quality Improvement (QI) projects have been deployed to support the HSE response to COVID-19. Existing programmes are being placed on hold while we are applying expertise in responding in other areas, informed by our QI thinking and approach.

Healthcare Improvement Scotland have created draft guidance on how to hibernate QI programmes. It outlines steps to be considered when hibernating programmes to make it easier to reinstate them later on.
