Assisted Decision Making Guide - Consultation

Assisted Decision-Making Guide for Health and Social Care Professionals

A draft HSE Guide has been developed to support health and social care professionals to implement good practice in relation to the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. The Guide provides a broad overview of the Act and it's main implications for service users and staff in health and social care settings. This draft Guide was available for consultation in early 2017.

Consultation on the Guide concluded in April 2017. Work is progressing on updating the Guide on foot of the feedback.

If you have any queries please contact Jacqueline at jacqueline.grogan@hse.ie.
