Child safety on the road and trains

We need to protect children while they are using the road (and all sorts of transport) and give them the knowledge and skills that will help them to be as safe as possible throughout their lifetime. As adults, leading by example is the best way we can pass on valuable safety messages to children.

Remember - always keep your car keys, and house keys, out of sight and reach of children - it is not unheard of for children to let themselves into a car, or out of the house, day or night, without anyone noticing.
