European Immunisation Week - April 2018

European Immunisation Week is happening from 23rd – 29th April 2018.

The theme for this year’s week is focusing on immunisation as an individual right and a shared responsibility.

We will be sharing content during the week through our twitter account @HSEImm using the hashtags #VaccinesWork and #ImmunizeEurope and from our Vaccines Work section.

The World Health Organization (WHO) have released a number of useful graphics, posters and suggested messages that may be useful if you are spreading messages locally. They are all available from their website.

On World Meningitis Day 24 April 2018 Dr Brenda Corcoran (NIO) and Dr Suzanne Cotter (HPSC) provided an update about Meningitis disease and the vaccines available.

You can view their slides here.
