Criteria

Children over 5 years and adults Children under 5 years of age
Suspected broken bones to legs
From knees to toes.
Injuries following a fall from a height or a Road traffic accident
Suspected broken bones to arms
From collar bone to finger tips.

Head injuries
All sprains and strains Chest pain
Facial injuries Abdominal pain
Eye injuries Gynaecological problems
Minor scalds and burns Pregnancy related conditions
Wounds, bites, cuts and grazes Medical conditions
Splinters and fish hooks Alcohol/drug related problems
Foreign bodies in eyes/ears/nose Pelvis/hip injuries
Minor chest injuries Neck/back pain

Location

Minor Injury Unit is located on Ground Floor.  It is accessible from back door, at rear car park, turn left on entering the building

From main Reception, turn left, take 1st right, continue down corridor, through x-ray and turn left. MIU is on right hand side.
