Rehabilitation Unit
The 20 rehabilitation in-patients beds are for clients discharged from the acute hospital services who reside in the Cavan & Monaghan catchment area, the recommendation for rehabilitation is the decision of the multidisciplinary team in the acute hospital.
The multidisciplinary team includes, Medical, nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapists, Speech & Language therapist, Dietician.
Visiting Hours:
6.30-8.30 Monday - Sunday
3.00PM - 4.00PM Saturday & Sunday
There is no visiting in the afternoon Monday - Friday, as clients need to maximise therapy sessions
Location;
Located on middle floor. From main Reception, turn left, go to bottom of corridor, take lift, press 1, and arrive on middle floor. On exit Rehabilitation Unit is on left hand side.

Step Down Unit
6 in-patient beds for those discharged from Cavan General Hospital, who require step down facilities.
Visiting Hours
3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m.
Location;
Located on ground floor. From main Reception, turn left, go down to bottom of corridor until you reach Step down Unit.
