An outpatient musculoskeletal service is provided for patients with injuries or disorders involving soft tissues, bones and joints including back pain, sports injuries and spinal injuries. All patients are individually assessed and therapy is provided on an individual basis or in a class setting, as deemed appropriate. Treatment options include manual therapy, exercise, advice and education. Typically patients will be given an exercise programme to do at home between physiotherapy appointments.
A Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist also provides an MSK triage service at Orthopaedic Consultant led clinics.
