This is located on the corridor near the Main Reception area.

Opening Hours:

Monday – Friday     8.00am – 8.00pm

Saturday & Sunday 10.00am – 6.00pm

Vending machines

Vending machines are located in emergency department and in the concourse area in the main hospital serving drinks, snacks and food.

Staff Restaurant

Located in Connolly Hospital Administration building

  • Opening Hours: 8.30am to 11.15am and 12.15pm to 2.30pm
  • Open 7 days per week
  • During opening hours there is also a take away food  service and tea / coffee (bean to cup) service available

The staff restaurant is also open to the public during service hours.

Hospital Shop

This is located in the Main Reception area.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday          8am – 9pm

Saturday                         9am – 8pm

Sunday                           10am – 8pm

Oratory / Prayer Room

The Hospital Oratory is situated near the Coffee Shop.  It is a place of peace and quiet and available to everyone (all denominations and none) and is open all day.

Monday, Thursday and Friday     1.05pm

Communion Service is available on Tuesday and Wednesday           1.05pm

Saturday                                            7.15pm

Sunday                             10.00 and 11.00pm


There is currently no ATM on site in Connolly Hospital


The Hospital Chaplain visits patients regularly.  If you would like to see the Chaplain or a Minister of your own Church or Faith, please ask the Nursing Staff.


The use of mobile phones or wireless internet is prohibited near medical equipment as they may interfere with life-saving devices; other wise patients are free to contact family and friends through their mobile phones when and as they wish. When using a phone please respect the need for other patient rest periods and clinical needs being delivered by our staff. Phones should be turned off or on silent during rest periods. Call during rest periods must be taken away from patient rest areas where possible. Taking of photographs/ videos is prohibited by hospital management.

Postal Services

Incoming letters are delivered daily to the wards.  If you wish to post a letter, please ask a member of staff.

Interpreting Service

We use a professional interpreting service.  Please notify a Staff Member if an Interpreter is needed
