Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan is part of the Louth/Meath Hospital Group and provides a general acute hospital service to the catchment area of Meath and an orthopaedic service to the region as a whole.
On the 22nd February, 2012 Dr. James Reilly, T.D., Minister for Health launched the new 'Tobacco Free Campus Policy' which was introduced at the hospitals within the Louth/Meath Hospital Group. From that date it is no longer possible to smoke anywhere on the hospital grounds or campuses at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan. The policy will apply to all staff, patients, visitors, contractors and anyone who enters the hospital buildings or grounds and will ensure a healthier, safer and cleaner environment for all and better health outcomes for patients and staff.
We know that you look forward to visiting times. It is important that your visitors respect the visiting times as proper rest and a peaceful environment are an essential part of treatment for all our patients. We ask that the visiting times are adhered to, in order to ensure that interruptions to care are kept to a minimum.
