Anxiety Management

Anxiety Management is a detailed programme for stress-related problems. You will learn about anxiety and how it affects your thoughts, actions and your body.

What does it involve?

You will look at identifying patterns of behaviour and patterns of thinking and how both of these can lead to difficulties. You will be taught strategies and techniques that will help you manage your anxiety better.

Who is this therapy for?

This therapy is offered to people who have difficulties with anxiety and want to learn more on how to manage these difficulties.

How do I get this therapy?

Any member of your Local Mental Health team can refer you.

Is there a waiting list?

Waiting lists vary depending on you area.

How ling does it last?

Usually there are six sessions, but this can vary depending on your needs.
