Out and About is a social activity group for young people with mental health difficulties.
Who is it for?
People who would like to develop social skills and confidence as part of their recovery journey.
People who feel isolated in their communities and would like the opportunity to participate in social activities in a supported way.
How does a person access this programme?
There are two ways
1. Self referral (must be a client of the service)
2. Referral from other members of mental health team
How long does it last/What is the time commitment?
Commitment and involvement in the group will be agreed with the facilitators to ensure maximum benefit.
One afternoon per week (Wednesday) 2.30 - 5.30pm (approx)
Speech and Language Therapy/Occupational Therapy and other members of mental health team.
Wednesday afternoon 2.30 - 5.30pm (approx)
