We are still open. To keep everybody safe we have had to change how we deliver our services. Here is a brief summary. The services will communicate directly with you to make arrangements before we see you.
|New Patient Clinics
||New patient clinics are taking place in line with COVID 19 guidelines. Some new patient consultations are being carried out over the phone.
|Out Patient Clinics
||Out patient clinics are being carried out over the phone or using video conferencing where possible. Where phone clinics are not possible, e.g. depot clinics, face to face appointments are taking place using PPE and social distancing measures.
||Day hospital services have been curtailed. People attending day hospitals are being supported by phone by day hospital staff. Where needed, a person may will be invited to attend a one to one session.
||Day centre services have been curtailed. People attending day centres are being supported by phone by day centre staff. Where needed a person may be invited to attend a one to one session.
||Some home care services are being provided over the phone. If we are visiting your home we will be in contact in advance to plan the visit in line with COVID guidelines.
||People are being screened for COVID 19 on admission. Visiting and patient time off the unit have been cancelled.
||Assertive outreach services are being provided over the phone where possible. Some appointments may take place in outside spaces. Home visits are carried out only when absolutely essential. If we are visiting your home we will be in contact in advance to plan the visit in line with COVID restrictions.
|First Episode Psychosis
||First episode services are being provided are being arranged in line with COVID 19 guidelines. Some some consultations are being provided over the phone or by video conferencing.
|Appointments with professionals
||Therapy sessions are either taking place over the phone, using video link, and face to face sessions are taking place in line with COVID 19 guidelines.
||We have changed how we deliver group programmes. Some are taking place with restricted numbers and physical distancing, some are taking place outdoors. Some, e.g. Stress Control, are being delivered online.
||Visiting has been restricted. Residents have been asked to stay indoors.
We are continuing to learn new ways to deliver our services and are testing the use of video conferencing.
