We are still open. To keep everybody safe we have had to change how we deliver our services. Here is a brief summary. The services will communicate directly with you to make arrangements before we see you.
|New Patient Clinics
||New patient clinics are taking place in line with COVID 19 guidelines. Some new patient consultations are being carried out over the phone.
|Out Patient Clinics
||Out patient clinics are being carried out over the phone or using video conferencing where possible. Where phone clinics are not possible, e.g. depot clinics, face to face appointments are taking place using PPE and social distancing measures.
||Day Hospital services are gradually being resumed. People are being invited to attend in small pods on limited days. People attending day hospitals are being supported by phone and in one to one sessions by day hospital staff.
||Day Centre services are gradually being resumed. People are being invited to attend in small pods on limited. People attending day centres are being supported by phone and in one to one sessions by day centre staff.
||Some home care services are being provided over the phone. If we are visiting your home we will be in contact in advance to plan the visit in line with COVID guidelines.
||People are being screened for COVID 19 on admission. Visiting and patient time off the unit is resuming on a planned basis.
||Assertive outreach services are being provided over the phone where possible. Some appointments may take place in outside spaces. If we are visiting your home we will be in contact in advance to plan the visit in line with COVID restrictions.
|First Episode Psychosis
||First episode services are being provided are being arranged in line with COVID 19 guidelines. Some some consultations are being provided over the phone or by video conferencing.
|Appointments with professionals
||Face to face consultations are taking place in line with COVID guidelines. Therapy sessions can also be arranged over the phone, using video link.
||We have changed how we deliver group programmes. Some are taking place with restricted numbers and physical distancing, some are taking place outdoors. Some, e.g. Stress Control, are being delivered online.
||Visiting has been restricted.
We are continuing to learn new ways to deliver our services and are testing the use of video conferencing.
