    Parents urged to ensure children are protected against measles

    Today (29 March 2023), the HSE is urging parents to make sure children are up to date with their MMR vaccines before travelling outside of Ireland during the Easter break. The MMR vaccine protects against measles outbreaks which are being reported around the world.

    COPD Support Ireland Group for Carrick-on-Suir Area launched

    A new peer support group for those living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in Carrick-on-Suir and the surrounding areas is now meeting weekly on Mondays at 11am in the Carrick Swan Juvenile GAA Centre (located beside the Courthouse Car Park in Carrick-on-Suir).

    Today (Tuesday, 28th March 2023), the HSE led ‘Dementia: Understand Together’ campaign launches its new community symbol to support people living with dementia and their families. Displaying the symbol sends an important message that you are supporting people with dementia.
