    HSE invites public to free webinar on ‘Steps to Reduce Our Cancer Risk’ hosted by the Irish Cancer Prevention Network to mark World Cancer Day 2023

    Today (Wednesday, 1st February), this Thursday 2nd February, the HSE, together with Irish Cancer Prevention Network (ICPN), are hosting a free public webinar called ‘Steps to Reduce Our Cancer Risk’. The event marks World Cancer Day, which will take place on Saturday 4th February, 2023.

    HSE launches new suite Clinical Practice Guidelines in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

    Today (Friday, 27th January 2023), the HSE launched a new suite of Clinical Practice Guidelines in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, offering up-to-date, evidence-based, clinical recommendations for care of women in maternity and gynaecology services, and promote a standardised approach to care across the country.

    New COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in Carlow and HSE’s mobile COVID-19 booster vaccination clinic to visit SETU campus, Carlow

    From tomorrow Saturday 28th of January, the HSE/South East Community Healthcare will be operating a COVID-19 primary and booster vaccination clinic at St. Dympnna’s Hospital in Carlow (Eircode R93 X7TV).

    Operating from their mobile vaccination unit, Sligo Leitrim COVID-19 Vaccination staff are offering primary and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to students, staff and any member of the public wishing to top up their protection.

    The HSE/South East Community Healthcare, as part of the “Laura Brennan HPV Catch-Up Programme”, are holding clinics (by appointment) for some people aged 16 or older who did not yet get the papillomaviruses (HPV) vaccine.

    The HSE is offering people the chance to get vaccinated this weekend at the Donegal V Kerry game in Ballybofey.

    HSE offers COVID-19 bivalent booster to people aged 12-64 at high risk of serious illness

    From today (Tuesday, 24th January 2023), the HSE will be contacting people aged 12 to 64 years with a condition that puts them at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19 to offer them a third COVID-19 booster dose if the second booster they received was not a bivalent vaccine.

    HSE response to Mental Health Commission interim report on CAMHS

    The HSE received the interim report of the Inspector of Mental Health Services into the provision of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the State in early January. We had received a draft in late 2022 and at that time took the actions necessary to address issues raised in relation to individual service users.
