    HSE marks European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation on Saturday, 10th October

    This year the European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation (EODD) will be held Saturday 10th October. The aim of the day is to promote awareness of organ donation in Europe. It is an opportunity to honour all organ donors and their families and to thank transplantation professionals throughout Europe whose hard work helps to save lives and improve the quality of life of many people.

    HSE's National Breastfeeding Week marked in Wexford

    The HSE’s National Breastfeeding Week proceeded amid welcome news that the HSE’s ‘Ask Our Breastfeeding Expert’ online service recorded a 57 per cent increase in demand over recent months, as parents of babies born during COVID-19 restrictions sought online advice.
