Two pop up COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Monaghan

Two pop up COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held across Monaghan this week offering even more opportunities to get your primary and booster vaccinations.

The first is being held tomorrow Tuesday August 9th at Monaghan Primary Care Centre, St Davnet’s Campus, Monaghan from 10.30am to 1pm and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Vaccines offered with be:

  • Dose 1, Dose 2 and Booster Dose for those aged 12 years and over
  • First and second boosters for those aged 65 years and over

The second vaccination clinic will be held at the Iontas Centre, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan on Thursday August 11th. The clinics will operate from 10.30am to 1pm and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Vaccines offered will be:

  • Dose 1, Dose 2 and Booster Dose for those aged 12 years and over
  • First and second boosters for those aged 65 years and over

A third clinic will be held on Friday August 12th at Monaghan Primary Care Centre, St Davnet’s Campus, Monaghan from 10.30am to 1pm and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Vaccines offered with be:

  • Dose 1, Dose 2 and Booster Dose for those aged 12 years and over
  • First and second boosters for those aged 65 years and over

Operational Manager Cavan and Monaghan Vaccination Service, Paula Loughran said: “The COVID-19 vaccination programme is advancing and we will be keeping up with those developments across Cavan and Monaghan. We are encouraging people to avail of their primary and booster vaccinations to protect themselves against COVID-19 this summer.”
