Recognises employees' rights to be treated with dignity and respect. Applies to all employees working in the public health service.

The principal policy purpose is to support a safe working environment for all employees which is free from all forms of bullying, harassment and sexual harassment. and protect employees at work from bullying, harassment and sexual harassment by other staff/managers and from other persons with whom they come into contact in the course of their work including patients/ service users, agency workers, contractors, suppliers and any other visitor to the employer’s work premises.
