Identify the Risks

As a manager, have you assessed your staff's exposure to chemicals?

Once you have identified the chemicals and their hazards, you then need to assess  potential exposures to the chemical.

This involves reviewing each hazardous chemical and considering the following questions:

Don't forget that all employees working with dangerous substances including vulnerable workers (e.g. young persons, new employees, pregnant employees) need to be considered as part of the risk assessment process.  Any controls identified must be implemented to ensure safety at work.
