Cancer support organisations on this page are described as 'Members' or 'Associate Members'.
This means they are part of a programme created by the HSE National Cancer Control Programme.
The programme is called the Alliance of Community Cancer Support Centres and Services.
The goal of the Alliance is to make sure that everyone affected by cancer in Ireland can get good-quality support close to where they live.
Members
Members are centres with a physical location that you can visit. They have shown that they follow the best practice guidance set out by the HSE National Cancer Control Programme.
Associate members
Associate Members are organisations that support people affected by cancer and follow the Alliance Charter. They may offer support online or in shared spaces instead of having their own premises.
