It has been an aim for some time, however, to establish the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU) in its own specially modified area,” according to Janet Murphy, Director of Midwifery Services, University Hospital Waterford, speaking as they launched their new unit following a relocation into their own dedicated for purpose premises in recent weeks.
“Our aim in this programme has been to develop health promotion interventions in a community-based venue,” according to Mick Mahon, HSE Advanced Nurse Practitioner Mental Health, speaking at a recent event providing nutrition awareness for users of Dublin South East mental health services.
