To ask the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that disability service providers have not received extra funding to cover the costs of deep cleaning, sanitising and other associated Covid-19 hygiene protocols as they begin to resume their services for persons with disabilities; if extra funding will be provided in the interest of public health to organisations providing these services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. -Gino Kenny
To ask the Minister for Health if the disparity in pay for staff at a facility (St Christopher’s Services facility in Longford; It is a situation that has festered since 2013 when the HSE stopped funding the cost of staff increments. The average wage differential for staff is €6,500 per annum and at present the funding gap is approximately €1.2m per annum and it will widen by a further €300,000 per annum moving forward. There is also the issue of €1.3m in arrears due for affected staff ) will be addressed - Joe Flaherty.
