Trauma Services

Since the publication of the report of the Trauma Steering Group, A Trauma System for Ireland in February 2018, the HSE has been hard at work to introduce an inclusive trauma system in Ireland.

A Trauma Review Implementation Group was established to progress four immediate actions identified in the report and an Independent Assessment Panel has been appointed to provide expert advice on which hospital in Dublin should be designated as a Major Trauma Centre.

Please use the options shown to access further information on the work of the Trauma Steering Group, the Trauma Review Implementation Group and the Independent Assessment Panel.
